Assembly Required

Hello, hope everyone enjoyed the Superbowl!

I will be having my own "Game Day" on March 4th. That's when my C-Section is scheduled so it's coming down to the final month. I'm excited, nervous and everything in between.

One of many things that I'm grateful for is that Perry has been by my side this whole time and is only becoming more supportive as we get closer to being parents.

For example, he totally took the lead on figuring out how the infant car seat is installed - and how it then fits into the stroller. All of these types of details can be overwhelming to me, my strong point is definitely NOT in the area of "assembly required" so I breath a sigh of relief when he puts on the daddy pants!

I've been striving to stay active and do lots of walking during my pregnancy. Some days are better than others! We recently had a nice visit to Watson Lake which is one of my favorite places to go. This time we talked about how much fun it's going to be to bring along Wilson when the time is right.

Below is a picture of my dad and I. He and his girlfriend came up from Denver to watch the Superbowl with us. A wonderful time was had by all (don't let the panicked look on my face fool you). They brought a lovely playpen/bassinet/changing table "thing" that will come in so handy! It took everyone awhile to figure out how to get it put together but they stuck with it.

I offered my encouraging words and gratitude, sometimes that's all you have to give...

I'm weighing-in at 220 lbs. these days which is fairly hefty but I'm OK with it. My stomach feels pretty squished up so I can't fit much food in it right now anyway, maybe that will help me not to gain too much more before Game Day.
