I didn't play that great and blamed it on my change in balance due to being 29 weeks along. Pretty soon, I'll have to think of another excuse for errant iron shots.
Even though we had a cart, and it's a short course, this activity took most of my stamina and I spent the remainder of the day on the couch. However, I know the more I stay active, the better off I'll be! My pregnancy days are numbered and sometime after March, I'll be plugging away again at taking off some weight.
I AM enjoying "this special time" and had a very merry Christmas. I am truly grateful to be surrounded by such love and support. I relished being the center of attention as many people had baby questions, advice, stories...most are humorous but some were flat out horrifying! 
It's shocking to hear accounts of what happens in situations were small children get injured and in such myriad of ways. OMG, could that ever happen to me and my child?! The answer is: yes and it will. I had to remind myself to breath and just relax. Listening to other people share their baby experiences is all part of the process. After all, I wanted this!
I'm still striving to eat fresh fruit and vegetables every day.
Perry and I make it a point to enjoy our green smoothies on a regular basis with the main ingredients being fresh organic baby spinach, banana, yogurt, milk, honey and ice. There's lots of other yummy things you can throw in but I'm finding that right now I crave mild foods so I stick with the basics.
But who am I kidding? There's also Rocky Road Ice Cream in my freezer! I never was a huge ice cream fan but now I can't seem to get enough. At least it's calcium.
